📋 Interview Setup Requirements (For On-Location Interviews)
To provide the highest quality video and audio experience for your interview on The Spotlight Insider, please ensure the following requirements are met at your chosen location:
🛋️ Space & Environment
Quiet, Distraction-Free Room: Please choose a quiet space free from background noise, foot traffic, or interruptions.
Open Space: We require sufficient space to accommodate a multi-camera setup and lighting equipment. A room with at least 10x12 ft of open floor space is recommended.
Solid Table & Chairs: A table for sitting during the interview (coffee table or standard desk/table) and chairs without wheels or noisy frames.
Controlled Lighting (If Possible): Natural light is great, but please be prepared to close blinds or curtains if lighting needs to be controlled for consistency.
⏱️ Timing & Prep
Setup Time: Please allow 30–45 minutes before the interview to complete setup (camera angles, lighting, sound checks, etc.).
Breakdown Time: Allow an additional 30–45 minutes after the interview for safe equipment removal and pack-up.
Interview Duration: Plan for at least 1 hour of recording time, not including setup/breakdown.

Power Outlets: At least 2 accessible outlets near the interview space.
Parking Access: Close parking access is appreciated for unloading video and lighting equipment.
Wi-Fi Access (Optional): Not required for recording but helpful for backup uploads or remote reference during filming.

1. How long will the entire interview process take?
You should plan for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours total, including setup (30–45 min), the interview (10-15min), and breakdown (30–45 min).
2. What do I need to provide for the setup?
We ask for:
A quiet, open room free of distractions
A table and chairs
At least two power outlets
Parking access for unloading equipment

3. What should I wear on camera?
Dress as you would for a professional or branded event. Avoid busy patterns or logos (unless it’s your brand). Solid colors work best on camera.
4. Will I get a copy of the interview?
Yes! You will receive a digital link to your full interview once it’s published on our platforms. You’re free to share and repost it on your channels.
5. Where will my interview be seen and heard?

8. Is there a fee to be featured?

9. What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens. Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. We’ll work with you to find a better date.
